Diabetes Mellitus is a systemic metabolic disorder caused by relative or absolute insulin secretion deficiency resistance, characterized hyperglycemia. It has affected 5% of the world’s population and accounts for about 10 % total health care expenditure in many countries. The present investigation was carried out to explore proximate, phytochemical compositions antihyperglycemic potentials Nauclea latifolia Smith Azadirachta indica A. Juss. selected plant parts were subjected solvent extraction using three solvents varying polarity (hexane, ethyl acetate, methanol), followed screening.
